Both editions
Second edition rules alongside the classic first, each with their own card art and wonder boards. Choose when you make the table.

What it is
Plays in the browser, nothing to install. Both rule sets — the classic first edition and the revised second. The Cities and Leaders expansions and the wonder packs. Computer opponents at three levels if you want to learn before you sit down with people.
Five years in the making. The biggest update yet is live today.

What’s in it
The table
Framed banners for every city, stone pillars for your neighbours, and a top bar carrying the direction of play, the timer, the discard pile and the scores. Choosing a card shows what each way of paying costs and whom it pays; neighbours you cannot trade with are greyed out, and a refused card tells you why. Refresh mid-game and you keep your place, table chat included.

Setting up
Public or passworded. Random, all-pick or draft wonders. Day side, night side or free choice. Blitz for a fast table, Casual when nobody is in a hurry, or no clock at all — and a computer opponent for any seat nobody took.

Afterwards
Every finished table is saved with its final cities, the full play-by-play and graphs of score, coins, trade and every war marked — each with a permanent link you can share. Inside the game, a library of every wonder, card and leader from both editions, searchable by name or by what a card actually does.

Two rule sets, three expansions
Second edition rules alongside the classic first, each with their own card art and wonder boards. Choose when you make the table.
Black cards, debt and diplomacy, the Courtesans Guild, Byzantium and Petra.
Every leader rule, Roma on both sides, and the anniversary and promo leaders.
Abu Simbel, The Great Wall, Manneken Pis, Stonehenge and the Catan promo board.
Computer opponents
Three difficulties, playable solo or dropped into a table to fill an empty seat. Easy explains the game to you. Hard drafts against you.
Progression
A portrait for every leader, each with its own challenge, and two more for every card colour. Renown is a rating built from who you actually beat, across ten ranks from Apprentice to Eternal, with a leaderboard to match. A hundred and twenty-six things to unlock in all — point at one to see what it asks of you.
